"The Chosen Cow" is a painted wood sculpture about the enchantment of childhood, the motifs pervasive in popular culture, and the vivid memories of my time spent amidst cow-filled fields during my upbringing. When viewing the sculpture straight on, you only see the UFO with its green beam; when viewing it from the opposite side, you can only see the cow. However, from the corner angles, you can finally see the cow being lifted into the UFO by the green beam. You can take this sculpture apart making it perfect for shipping and reinstalling.
